Mercy Home

Mercy Social Welfare Centre, Mercy Home, Chethipuzha is a registered charitable institution that has been promoting rehabilitation services to person with disabilities. It provides opportunities and protects the rights of the person with disabilities. The institution started its journey on 4th August 1974. Hundreds of people with disabilities benefited and rehabilitated in our institution. Now there are 61 inhabitants here.

We put our best effort to take care of them by providing residential care, nutritional support, special educational support, medical services, therapeutic support, vocational training, school education, informal education and so on to lead a better life in future. We also try to make them independent as possible.

Over the last 43 years, the institution played a massive role in initiating services for peole with disabilities to meet the growing needs of children and adults with loco motor disabilities, polio, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities.
