Mercy Home is a rehabilitation institute for the disabled, started on Aug 4th 1974 by His Beatitude Cardinal Mar Antony Padiyara, the then Archbishop of Changanassery. Various rehabilitation services are carried out here under the supervision of the Sisters of the Destitute (S.D). This place is 3 km away from Changanasssery town and opposite to St.Thomas Hospital, Chethipuzha.
Training Institute of Multi Rehabilitation Technology(T.I.M.R.T) is a training centre for all kinds of Disabled children. We focus mainly on early intervention programme. MRT is started in 1997 in a rented building. In 2003 a new building was constructed in the campus of mercy home at Chethipuzha for MRT. We started a course-Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy- recognized by Rehabilitaion Council of India in the same year
